PT Office Administrator
(15 hours per week, with some holiday cover required in August)
£8.50 per hour initially, rising to £10 per hour after 3 months
Administrator required to work with our Office Manager in a family run Air Conditioning Company, based in Great Baddow, Chelmsford.
The role involves:
Taking calls from existing and potential clients
Scheduling planned work and booking call outs
Liaising with engineers and surveyors to provide feedback to clients
Tracking works undertaken and preparing invoices
Chasing invoice payments
Following up and preparing quotations for prospective work
Arranging payments for sub contractors and suppliers
Organising and allocating receipts onto our QuickBooks programme
Opening post, filing and other general admin duties
This is an all-round admin job, providing much needed support to the Office Manager. You will need to be:
Good at managing lots of different tasks,
Able to work on your own initiative
Have a good telephone manner
Have some customer service experience (ideally)
A basic grasp of Word and Excel
Full training will be given and you will work alongside the Office Manager initially.
Initially we are looking for someone to work 15 hours per week, over 3 days, ideally 10am to 3pm but the exact start and finish times can be flexible. In addition we will also need holiday cover to be provided between 28 July and 7 August (7 working days). This can be counted as overtime, or the days can be taken off in lieu.
