Care Home Cook Chef Part Time
Description
A family friendly care home in Peterculter has a vacancy for a part time cook/chef.
There is a 2 week rolling rota of set days comprising of: Week 1 - Thursday & Friday and Week 2 - Saturday & Sundays. There is also the option to pick up additional hours to cover sickness and holiday.
Ideally you will hold a current HACCP qualification and have experience of developing nutritional menu's for the residents. Food produced must be made to nutritional guidelines and you will have a working knowledge of textured foods, requirements for diabetes, fortification for foods for those who are frail etc.
You will be required to produce 3 meals a day including preparation for supper and home baking.
PVG (Disclosure Scotland) essential.
