Description
We are looking for a FRIENDLY & EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER to join our family of four in Kingwood Common, 10 mins from Henley-on-Thames , 15 mins from Reading. We are looking for someone to handle all the general household duties including laundry, with some driving and occasional school runs. Children are 13 & 14 and both partially board at school.
We need someone to work three to four days a week, hours are very FLEXIBLE and can suit you in school term time. You would always usually have Tuesday and Thursday afternoons & evenings off.
You should be a good organiser with a happy positive attitude and AT LEAST THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE in a similar role. You will need to be able to handle delicate fabrics, the laundry with care and attention as well as look after antiques & fine furniture.
A good standard of family cooking is also required and you might be asked to help occasionally at dinner parties, prepping or serving food & drinks.
We also require one or two nights babysitting week, often at weekends.
A SENSE OF HUMOUR is essential!

Superb SEPARATE accommodation in a bright, spacious modern studio overlooking a beautiful 3 acre garden - comprising a large bathroom, separate bedroom, kitchen and sitting area, all furnished in a modern style (no bills). See pictures attached.
Salary is around £300/£350 week (negotiable, depending on experience & hours). We offer use of a Toyota RAV (manual drive).
Four weeks PAID holiday - and flexible arrangements for time-off in school holidays.
