Field Care Supervisor
Description
Role: Field Care Supervisor

Full time hours per week, Salary £16,500 pro rata.

We are currently recruiting Field Care Supervisors to mentor and motivate a team of care workers, helping to improve outcomes for our service users with the South Gloucestershire area.
Sound knowledge and understanding of good care principles and practice are essential
Experience in writing care plans and practical knowledge of CQC regulation are essential to this role
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of IT systems to include Microsoft office, rostering and monitoring systems.

Your duties will include:
- To undertake initial assessments and produce person centred care plans for service users, following this up with regular reviews to ensure that documents are accurate and reflect current status
- To monitor and mentor the care worker team regularly, ensuring that they are attending scheduled visits as planned and for the agreed length of time
- To undertake observations, supervisions, annual appraisals and team meetings with the care work team, reviewing and updating their individual Personal Development Plan
- Being part of the "on-call" rota to ensure that emergency support is provided as and when required on a 24 hour basis
- Assisting service users with personal care routines i.e. toileting, washing, dressing, bathing, showering and medication in accordance with their individual care plan
- All of the above must be carried out in accordance with our company policie, procedures and safe systems of work.


You will possess:

- Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting – Essential
- Demonstrate ability to be able to manage own work load – Essential
- NVQ/QCF level 2/3 in H&S Care or other professional qualification in care - Desirable
- Previous experience at Senior or Higher Care Assistant level - Desirable
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant - Essential
- Demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated – Essential
- Full, valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle - Essential
- The legal right to work in the UK - Essential
