Bassist / Bass Player looking for alternative rock project
Description
My name's Ollie, I'm a bassist from Worthing, I've been playing just over 10 years. I also play guitar and write and record my own music. You can find some on soundcloud /ollie-field.
I've been playing in various bands for a little while, including my long running covers band Jukebox Junkies.
I'm looking to join or start an alternative rock based project that is happy to vary in and out of different genres.
A few bands and bassists I'm into:
Nine Inch Nails, Placebo, Isis, Mogwai, Pink Floyd, Converge, Swans, Mars Volta, Radiohead, John Frusciante, Puscifer, Autolux, David Bowie, The Jesus Lizard, John Mayer, Swervedriver, RATM, Justin K Broadrick, plus loads of stoner rock and hip hop etc
Juan Alderete, Brian Cook, Tim Lefebvre, Les Claypool, Justin Chancellor, Pino Palladino.
Anyway, I like loads of different music and I have about 5 hours of music waiting to be perfected.
My ideal goal would be to make some music we love and play a handful of wicked gigs.
