Description
My husband and I are a professional working couple living in Chiswick with our two boys, Lucas (aged 4) and Isaac (aged 21 months). We are looking for a loving nanny to look after our boys, five days a week, full time from September 1st, 2016.
The position will be contracted for 40 hours a week, although there may be a few more hours each week depending on our individual hours. We are looking for someone to be flexible since our hours change somewhat from day to day depending on meetings.
Lucas will be attending the local school (Belmont) starting on September 9th. He needs to be dropped off at 9am and picked up at 3:15. Isaac will need to be looked after full-time.
Major responsibilities:
- Keeping our children safe, happy and stimulated
- Dropping off Lucas to school and picking him up, ensuring he has everything he needs for school and relaying relevant messages from the school
- Making breakfast and lunch for the children
- Performing housework related to the children, including tidying toys, doing the children’s laundry, cleaning up after their meals
- Arranging for playdates and taking the kids to activities such as football classes
We are looking for someone fitting the following description:
- Fluent English speaker;
- Non-smoker;
- At least two years looking after children, in an au-pair, nanny or nursery position;
- Good at cooking healthy meals;
- Flexible, dependable and punctual
Desirable:
- OFSTED registered
- Training in early childhood education
- Enjoys outdoor activities
- Experience with the Early Years curriculum
- First-aid certificate
Pay will be competitive and depend on the qualifications of the nanny. Please reply with your CV, cover letter and excellent references.
