After some consideration I have decided to retire from motorcycle riding and consequently I’m now putting up my pride and joy for sale.
I bought the bike from new from a Fife Suzuki dealer in September 2002.
I have only used it for pleasure riding and mostly on dry days. It has always been stored in secure dry environment thus keeping the paint and aluminium in pristine condition.
Through the years I have added some useful extras such as a racing screen, crash bung protectors, air horns and many other bits and bobs. I have removed most of the foam padding from the rider’s seat due to having a short inside leg. The seat is still comfortable.
The tyres and chain are almost like new with minimal wear.

A few years ago and with the help of a welding friend and my engineering back ground I decided to design a completely different style of exhaust system. The only part of the bike that required some alterations was the pillion seat frame and the seat cowling. All the remaining parts of the bike remained untouched and stock. The exhaust system was only done as an aesthetical project however on test runs with the baffles removed it did run a bit quicker also with the baffles fitted it ran as normal.
The bike passes all MOT’s with flying colours with the new exhaust system and baffles fitted, too loud with them removed. My insurance company were happy to insure the bike as aesthetically modified only.
Last year I took the bike with my son as pillion passenger on a tour to the Black Forest in Germany. The bike was loaded up with panniers and a tank bag including us with back packs. Throughout the whole trip the bike didn’t miss a beat even during the hottest part of the summer.
I will also include a rear paddock stand, a front wheel rotator which helps when cleaning the wheel and the original fairing screen.
