Antique longcase clock late 18 th century Scottish oak and mahogany cross banded longcase clock the sizes 87 inches high to top of spire 20?wide and 9 1/2? deep the 8 day movement striking the hours on a bell,date dial and moon phase There is a unusual feature on the outer edge of the moonphase a graduated scale going from 1 to 12 and 12 to 1 all the way round I think it is something to do with the tides .all working as they should.the painted dial with maker david Murray Edinburgh on it..and in perfect condition as can be seen from pictures this clock is in very good condition .
