For sale is a 2009 Tamoretti Retro 125cc scooter finished in pepper white. It has had 2 owners before me although the 1st owner was the import company (they owned it for 1 day so it doesn’t exactly count). The scooter is in fair condition for its age, it is not pristine and has a few marks and scrapes as shown in the photos. It's very presentable though and most of all, has only covered 913 miles from new so has plenty of life left! It also has an alarm fitted with a remote fob.
I bought this scooter from my friend (female owner) 18months ago as a non-runner with the intention of fixing it. The scooter cranks over but doesn’t spark. I’ve given the scooter a new battery, new spark plug, new starter solenoid, new ignition coil, new cdi and new stator but still no spark at the spark plug. Once you get it going, it’ll need an oil service, brakes serviced/cleaned, tyres pumped up and you’ll be good to go for many more miles as it has plenty of life left in it!
I’ve lost interest in it and have bigger projects on the go (I’m more into motorcycles than scooters) so it’s time for the scooter to go to a good home. I’m sure it would be a quick fix for someone with a bit more experience in scooter electrics than I as it’s clearly not my forte!
The scooter comes complete with owner’s manual, tool pouch and all the spare/replacement I purchased. 1key with alarm fob, V5 is present and in my name.
Non-runner and no MOT so you must collect in a van or with a trailer. No delivery possible.
