The ultimate airhead. This model was produced for less than a year and is the only featuring spoked wheels AND double front disc brakes.
The engine is much smother than the R100 engine and much more suitable to riding in the city, at the same time powerful enough for a motorway journey away for the weekend.
The gearbox was replaced just before I bought it and it's in a good condition, lovely agricultural as these are.
Front disks are new, the bing carburettors have been replaced, new rear tyre, master cylinder conversion done relocating it to the handlebars, new good ridge brake lines, original Krauser panniers with keys, seat is in good condition with storage under and inside, all locks work, original pump present and on the shelf I've a set of /5 aluminium indicators, new narrower handlebars and replacement foot pegs. Stand has newly been serviced, the bike's got MOT until end of June.
The bike's sold in used condition and is of course not perfect. The bags need new hinges, one foot pegs (passenger) is a little bent, it's not been polished for years, there is excess wiring from the headlight and some greyed plastic.
The bike was serviced less than 2000 miles ago.
Milage showing 10k miles which could have ticked over or had the speedo replaced at some time. But with a new gearbox that's not really a concern on these kind of bikes which are considered indestructible.
Selling this as I've accumulated too many bikes.
